Drunken Jade tells the story of Ji Kang (223-263): one of the most talented musicians who also known for his magnetic charm and untamed spirit, making him the rock star of the era. Tales describe his drunken state as “like a jade intoxicated, moving with the grace of a mountain in motion”. Often hidden in the bamboo groves, he lived a life in Taoism and true to himself.
